Dillon Danis pulled out of his scheduled boxing match against KSI on January 14, owing to him allegedly being unprepared for his highly anticipated comeback to compete in combat sports.
Danis is one of the most polarizing personalities in the world of martial arts. While the 29-year-old once showed promise as an MMA artist, he infamously chose to cultivate his identity as an internet troll after being associated with Conor McGregor for a period of time.
With only two successful outings for Bellator in the welterweight division, many within the community have concluded that his career is as good as finished at this point.
However, popular comedian Andrew Schulz believes that Danis taking up a fight against jiu-jitsu maestro Gordon Ryan will grant his career a lifeline considering the bad blood between them. Ryan narrowly beat Danis at ADCC in 2017, and the two share a mutual dislike for each other.

On the latest episode of the Flagrant podcast, Schulz opined:
"There's one more fight that he could do and then pull out of but I think people give him one more chance. That is a jiu-jitsu fight against Gordon Ryan... People still see Dillon as a jiu-jitsu guy and Gordon went on to have the most incredible career in jiu-jitsu in history... I think people would have an appetite for one more thing."

Aljamain Sterling offers Dillon Danis advice after the latter pulls out of boxing match against KSI
It seems UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling hasn't abandoned all hope of Dillon Danis reviving his career. Danis pulled out of his highly anticipated boxing match against British YouTuber KSI after months of building up the hype, causing fans to brutally troll him online.
However, Sterling recently offered some advice to the 29-year-old and outlined what Danis needs to do to get back into the good books of MMA fans.
In a recently uploaded YouTube video, 'Funk Master' analyzed 'El Jefe's' situation and stated:
"Dillon Danis, you need to go out there and scrap bro... Do something that can get the fans behind you in a legitimate way... I think the clown show and Dillon Danis is just about up... No one is taking him serious and no one is going to support with the monetary value of Dillon Danis until he actually goes out there and competes."
