Superlek Kiatmoo9 has done everything there is to be achieved in Muay Thai, but his next match against Jonathan Haggerty could bring him to a whole new level in the sport's illustrious history.
The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion will challenge the two-sport king for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.
Superlek already held a lofty resume before he entered ONE Championship in 2019. The Thai superstar was a two-time Lumpinee Stadium world champion and a WBC Muay Thai world champion, but the chance to get one of Haggerty's belts could solidify his status as an all-time great.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Superlek said he's hellbent on taking the bantamweight Muay Thai throne from Haggerty in Denver.

He said:
"I'm already decorated in Muay Thai, I also have the belt in kickboxing. So there's only one thing left, the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title."
If Superlek's run of form could be judged, then he has all the momentum in the world to dethrone Haggerty at ONE 168.
Superlek is on a massive 10-fight winning streak and holds wins over ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Japanese superstar Takeru Segawa, Daniel Puertas, and Panpayak Jitmuangnon.
Haggerty, though, is also on an impressive winning streak of his own.
The British superstar, who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, is on a six-fight winning streak and has victories over Thai legend Nong-O Hama and ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade.
Tickets for ONE 168 are available at Ticketmaster.
Superlek grateful American fans have embraced Thai athletes
Superlek Kiatmoo9 wasn't on the card when ONE Championship had its first on-site U.S. show with ONE Fight Night 10, but he was in the building to take in the atmosphere in Denver.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Superlek said he was proud to see American audiences give such a tremendous reception when his compatriots Rodtang and Stamp Fairtex took the circle in May 2023:
"I was amazed by the crowd cheering for the Thai athletes. It's amazing to see such passion in a foreign land. I love seeing the excitement and the energy in the stadium."
