Paddy Pimblett made his highly-anticipated UFC debut in September 2021. He quickly established a presence in the lightweight division by securing consecutive finishes against Luigi Vendramini (first-round knockout), Rodrigo Vargas (first-round submission), and Jordan Leavitt (second-round submission).
Since then, Pimblett has continued to silence the doubters with three more wins, starting with a controversial unanimous decision against Jared Gordon. 'The Baddy' took out Tony Ferguson by unanimous decision in late 2023 and most recently Bobby Green by first-round submission to extend his UFC record to 6-0.
What's next for Paddy Pimblett in the UFC?
Paddy Pimblett made a massive statement when he submitted Bobby Green in round one of their UFC 304 matchup. Pimblett was a slight betting favorite heading into the fight, but most people expected Green to test the English superstar.
Pimblett holds the number 14 rank in the lightweight division and plans to fight once more in 2024.
Earlier this year, 'The Baddy' voiced his interest in fighting number eleven-ranked Renato Moicano, who recently defeated Benoit Saint-Denis in a fight night main event.
At 29 years old, Pimblett has proven he's more than a massive superstar. With that said, the journey to UFC gold won't be any easier for the Liverpool native, making every fight a tough challenge moving forward.
