Paddy Pimblett has weighed in on a potential fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
Ahead of his fight at UFC 282, Pimblett sat down for an interview with Michael Bisping. During the nearly 15-minute chat, 'The Baddy' spoke about various topics like his opponent Jared Gordon and his growth over the years as a fighter.
At one point, the Liverpudlian discussed a potential showdown against Jake Paul. Pimblett said that he would entertain the idea given that he gets to dictate the terms of engagement.
Expanding on this, the 27-year-old said that Paul would have to be drug-tested prior to their fight:

"If you wanna have a fight with me, let's get it on. Get your manager to talk to my manager, we'll sort it through the UFC and through everyone you wanna sort it with. It won't be on your terms like you do with everyone else. You'll have to do a drug test, and we'll see."

Jake Paul recently went toe-to-toe with MMA legend Anderson Silva in a boxing match. The fight was a closely contested affair, but 'The Problem Child' emerged victorious in the end with a unanimous decision from the judges.
Paddy Pimblett went on to question the legitimacy of Paul's fights. The Scouser claimed that Jake Paul's fights are "rigged."
In response, 'The Problem Child' uploaded a video where he offered to fly 'The Baddy' out to Costa Rica and compete against him in a sparring match. Paul said that he would give Pimblett $1 million if he won.
Paul added that if Pimblett loses, he would have to join the United Fighters Association and advocate for fair compensation for MMA fighters.
Michael Bisping weighs in on Jake Paul's offer to fight Paddy Pimblett
Michael Bisping believes it would be a good idea for Paddy Pimblett to accept Jake Paul's offer of a sparring match.
According to Bisping, although the chances of Pimblett winning are slim, there's not much downside to taking the offer. This is because 'The Count' does not believe that the 'United Fighters Association' initiative by Paul will ever become a reality.
The former middleweight champion stated the same in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel:
"It's a great opportunity for Paddy. If I'm him, I'm doing that. I'm taking that million dollars because that association bullshit is never gonna happen. But what Jake's doing here is kinda smart. He sees that Paddy has a lot of fame at the minute, he's the new Conor McGregor... So Jake flies him down to Costa Rica and more than likely beats him up on the feet because he's a better boxer; he's a bigger guy."
