However, Jared Gordan dominated the battle on the ground, with the American significantly out-performing 'The Baddy' in control time. Gordan controlled Pimblett for 6 minutes and 28 seconds, with his opponent only recording 35 seconds of control time on the mat.

Each round was close in terms of striking stats, but Pimblett's 'best' round was likely the opening five minutes. Jared Gordan only managed to pin the Englishman down for 28 seconds, and Pimblett landed 29 significant strikes, just one fewer than Gordan.
'The Baddy' slightly outstruck Gordan in the second round, landing 28 significant strikes compared to the American's 24. However, Gordan managed to control Pimblett for over two-minutes on the ground.
The final round was arguably even worse for the Englishman, with the normally fluent striker only landing 6 significant strikes during the round. Once again, it was the American's ground control winning the battle, with Jared Gordan recording nearly four minutes of control time in the last round.

It seems Jared Gordan is very open to facing Paddy Pimblett again. The American recently telling TMZ Sports that he wants to rematch 'The Baddy' on home turf.
As mentioned, many had felt that after three rounds of fighting in the co-main event at UFC 282, Gordan would have his hand raised. However, the judges didn't see it that way and instead unanimously sided with Pimblett.
While speaking to TMZ Sports about a potential rematch against 'The Baddy,' Gordan said:
I would love a rematch. I'll go to London to fight him, I don't care. I think it makes sense. I think it'd be great. When I win then I'll be 2-0. But on paper, 1-1. Then we'll have a trilogy and we'll really see what he's about.
As of right now, an immediate rematch between Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordan is yet to be booked in the UFC.
