Paige VanZant hasn't fought in BKFC since losing to Rachel Ostovich in July 2021. The former UFC fighter has struggled to book her third fight in the organization despite BKFC aiming for a late 2022 contest between VanZant and Charisa Sigala.
The two women were originally meant to fight at BKFC 27: MVP vs. Platinum in London, but due to logistical issues the bout was pulled from the card. The contest was once again scheduled for BKFC 31: Richman vs. Doolittle in October, but again the fight failed to happen.
While speaking to MMA Fighting after the initial booking fell apart, BKFC president Dave Feldman stated that he was aiming to book the contest for November, which has since failed to materialize:
"I did everything I was supposed to do, and we’re going to have that fight later on in the year, probably in the November timeframe."

Paige VanZant is currently winless under the BKFC banner, having fought twice in the organization since joining the company in 2021. Both Britain Beltran and Rachel Ostovich have managed to defeat the former UFC fighter.
Her likely future opponent, Charisa Sigala, doesn't have a much better record. However, Sigala does have a win in the organization, beating Jessica Link in October 2021. The 38-year-old currently has a BKFC record of one win, three losses, and one draw against Angela Danzig. Taylor Starling, Pearl Gonzalez and Beltran have all beaten Sigala under the BKFC banner.

Did Paige VanZant have a good UFC career?
Paige VanZant is mainly known due to her six-year spell under the UFC banner, with the American leaving the organization with five wins and four losses. VanZant fought with some big names during her nine-fight UFC career, facing the likes of Amanda Ribas, Rose Namajunas, and Michelle Waterson-Gomez.
The 28-year-old had a great start to life in the UFC, winning three fights in a row against Kailin Curran, Felice Herrig, and Alex Chambers.
However, '12 Gauge' had a poor run of form during the latter stages of her UFC career, winning only two bouts in her last five fights in the organization. VanZant managed to get the better of Bec Rawlings and Rachael Ostovich, but suffered defeats against Ribas, Jessica-Rose Clark, and Waterson-Gomez.
