Paige VanZant reacted to the controversial result of her boxing match against Elle Brooke.

On Saturday night, VanZant ended a nearly three-year absence from combat sports competition by headlining the Misfits Boxing-produced event, MF & DAZN X Series 15. The former UFC fighter was matched up against Brooke, an NSFW content creator who also holds the promotion's women's middleweight title.

VanZant and Brooke were scheduled for five two-minute rounds, with every second being utilized before the judge's scorecards. '12 Gauge' was surprisingly knocked down in round one before bouncing back and controlling most of the fight.

Once the dust settled, many fans didn't agree with the result, as Brooke retained her middleweight strap by split decision (47-47, 48-46, and 46-48). VanZant posted a reaction video on social media, which can be seen below, and added the following caption when re-sharing on her temporary Instagram story:

"Went home with a draw. Feels like a loss but looked like a win. Let's do this one more time ASAP"

Paige VanZant calls for a rematch against Elle Brooke inside O2 Arena in London

Before signing with Misfits Boxing, Paige VanZant had fought under the BKFC banner and dipped her toes into professional wrestling. Nonetheless, '12 Gauge' was primarily focused on her NFSW content, making it unclear how long she wanted to fight before officially retiring from combat sports.

Following the split decision draw, VanZant doesn't seem ready to move on from Misfits Boxing. The 30-year-old took to Instagram and called for a rematch against Elle Brooke by saying:

"Rematch August O2 Arena"

Paige VanZant parted ways with the UFC following a first-round submission loss against Amanda Ribas in July 2020. Since then, she's fought in bare-knuckle boxing twice under the BKFC banner, losing against Britain Hart and Rachel Ostovich by unanimous decision.

As for Elle Brooke, she's found her niche in influencer boxing by becoming the Misfits middleweight champion. The 26-year-old holds an overall record of 4-1-1, with her latest fight against VanZant being her first as a professional. Only time will tell if Brooke gets another crack at the former UFC fighter.
