ONE flyweight Muay Thai star Panpayak Jitmuangnon is eyeing his second straight victory with a dominant showing against Russian standout Egor Bikrev, which is why he enlisted the help of one of Thailand's top striking gyms — Phuket Fight Club.
Speaking with ONE before he goes to war with the 22-year-old at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Friday, Dec. 20, Panpayak talked about how working with them has prepared him for Bikrev:
"Training at Phuket Fight Club is great. I get to train directly with Russian athletes. I get help from Kiamran [Nabati] in terms of my boxing development, and the training system is based on international standards with sports science added."

The Thai hero's decision to refine his fundamentals at Phuket Fight Club is unsurprising, given the many elite strikers who call the world-renowned gym their home, highlighted by ONE stars Elias Mahmoudi and women's atomweight Muay Thai queen Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.
Additionally, training with Muay Thai standout Kiamran Nabati was also a good call for the 28-year-old, as Nabati can perfectly simulate Bikrev's boxing-heavy style.
Panpayak focused on his strength and conditioning ahead of ONE Friday Fights 92
During the virtual pre-fight press conference for ONE Friday Fights 92, Panpayak admitted he worked on his conditioning after feeling some ring rust following his win versus Silviu Vitez this past October.
The Jitmuangnon Gym affiliate said:
"I went back for weight training because I missed weight last time around. During the third round, I didn't have strength or power to fight back. For the rankings, I think within three fights, I will be better, and I will be in the rankings."
