Petr Yan and Sean O'Malley will face off in the third-last fight of the UFC 280 pay-per-view card - a bout that would otherwise be considered the main event on any other UFC card. At the pre-fight press conference, both the bantamweight contenders made it clear that there was no love lost between them.

In their heated face-off, the former bantamweight champion shoved 'Suga' Sean O'Malley. The audience in attendance for the UFC 280 presser couldn't contain their excitement as they jeered the two fighters on.

Before they faced off, 'No Mercy' and O'Malley had some choice verbal insults for each other. However, it seems that Petr Yan ended up having the upper hand in their verbal spat.

It started with Sean O'Malley being asked what he thought about Petr Yan calling him a "Conor McGregor wannabe" at the UFC 280 media scrum. O'Malley struggled to come up with a definitive comeback, and instead opted to say:

"I'm going to smash Petr, how about that? Is that a better answer?"

On being asked what he thought was the difference between his and Yan's striking - alluding to both of them being great strikers - O'Malley said:

"He is 5'5". There's no way... it says he's 5'7" on the stats but there's no way he's 5'7". I just believe I'm a lot better everywhere."

Petr Yan, on the other hand, kept his answers short and to-the-point. On being asked what he thought of O'Malley's claims of him being 5'5" and not 5'7", Petr Yan had the last laugh. Here is what he said:

"It's not about the height. Just look at him, he's like a w***e on the side of the road."

Yan's comeback even made O'Malley acknowledge his insult.
