Usman Nurmagomedov and Paul Hughes are set to throw down at the highly anticipated PFL: Road to Dubai: Champions Series event this weekend at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The fast-rising Irish MMA star will challenge the Dagestani fighter for the Bellator lightweight championship in the main event.

Nurmagomedov is coming off an incredible unanimous decision victory over Alexandr Shabliy at Bellator San Diego last September. Per MMA Junkie, the reigning lightweight champion was paid a whopping $100,000 for his performance. Given the hype behind his fight against Hughes, it won't be surprising to see him pocket a higher figure at PFL Dubai.

Intriguingly, per Sporty Salaries, Hughes took home $200,000 for his win over A.J. McKee at the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants event last October. Given that he reportedly took home more than Nurmagomedov, one can expect the Irishman to pocket roughly a quarter million for his PFL Dubai outing.

Elsewhere on the card, Vadim Nemkov faces Tim Johnson in a heavyweight clash. Nemkov last beat Bruno Cappelozza at the PFL vs. Bellator event last February. Per NY Fights, he reportedly took home $850,000 for his victory. For the upcoming Johnson fight, we can expect the heavyweight to pocket roughly the same amount, if not slightly more. There wasn't much information on Johnson's previous payouts.
