Jeremy Pacatiw will look to chalk up his second win in ONE Championship when he takes on Tial Thang this December in Manila.
ONE Championship announced that the fight will take place at ONE 164: Pacio vs. Brooks on December 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Pacatiw is one of the stronger fighters out of Team Lakay. He wants nothing more than to build his name up and climb the bantamweight rankings. The Filipino slugger is a relentless striker and proved his worth when he scored a unanimous decision win over China’s Chen Rui at ONE: Battleground in July 2021.

Thang, meanwhile, is a consummate grappler who likes to drag his opponents into deep water. The Burmese star isn’t as aggressive on the feet as Pacatiw is, but what he does is take his opponents down and use his powerful ground-and-pound to take effect.
The Sanford MMA fighter went 3-0 in his first three fights in ONE Championship, with his third win being a first-round knockout of Paul Lumihi. True to his style, Thang used his wrestling to subdue Lumihi and it was on the ground where he finished off the Indonesian striker.
Both Pacatiw and Thang are outside the bantamweight rankings and could use this fight as their stepping stone into the top five.
ONE Championship’s bantamweight division is full of absolute killers inside the circle, including former world champions Kevin Belingon and Bibiano Fernandes, as well as hard-hitting contenders Fabricio Andrade, Kwon Won Il, and Stephen Loman.
Just getting into consideration to join that group is a hard enough task, but both Jeremy Pacatiw and Thang could get in if they can score an utterly dominant win at ONE 164.
Jeremy Pacatiw joins Team Lakay stablemates on loaded ONE 164 card
ONE Championship has pulled out all the stops for its year-ending card in the Philippines.
The promotion will feature five Filipino stars at ONE 164, with ONE strawweight world champion Joshua Pacio headlining the card against Jarred Brooks.
Jeremy Pacatiw will feature as part of the preceding matches, which also also include his Team Lakay stablemates Geje Eustaquio, former ONE flyweight world champion Danny Kingad, and Jenelyn Olsim.
Eustaquio, who’s won his last two matches, will face Hu Yong, while Kingad takes on the in-form Gurdarshan Mangat. Olsim, meanwhile, will have her biggest challenge yet when she battles Chinese star Meng Bo.
