Conor McGregor showcased his Jeet Kune Do skills, a martial art created by Bruce Lee in a recent social media post.
The first UFC double-division champion remains in the spotlight despite his hiatus from the Octagon. He is currently facing challenges in his personal life, as he was found liable for a sexual assault case by an Irish civil court. The jury ordered him to pay damages to the victim in the case, Nikita Hand.
‘The Notorious’ recently took to Instagram to share snaps of himself demonstrating his Jeet Kune Do skills and captioned the post:
“HIGH KICK FASTER THAN A JAB! @brucelee #JeetKuneDo.”

The former two-division UFC champion was scheduled to fight long-time rival Michael Chandler at UFC 303. However, he withdrew from the matchup owing to a toe injury just a few weeks before the fight.
McGregor was last seen in action in the trilogy bout when he squared off with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He lost the fight in the first round after breaking his leg and has been out of action in the octagon ever since.
However, at a BKFC event in Spain a few months ago, the Irish fighter met UFC lightweight Dan Hooker and expressed his desire to fight in 2025.
Dana White says Conor McGregor may return next year and refuses to comment on ongoing sexual assault case
Amid the ongoing sexual assault case, it is unclear what lies ahead for Conor McGregor's fighting career. Many fighters have criticized him following the civil court order, including his longtime rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and reigning lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
UFC CEO Dana White, in the post-fight press conference of UFC 310, was asked about McGregor’s ongoing case. He refused to comment, and when asked about McGregor’s potential return, White stated that if McGregor wanted to fight, it would probably be next year.
White said:
"If I had a comment [about McGregor's ongoing case] I would have put it out already. He hasn't been fighting here in how long? If he does fight, it will be sometime next year."
