Ilia Topuria's wife, Giorgina Uzcategui Badell, recently shared a series of pictures with the reigning featherweight champion and other family members on a safari trip. Badell took to Instagram to post the aforementioned collage, showcasing the family's enjoyment.
Topuria recently headlined UFC 308, where he successfully defended his featherweight title against Max Holloway. Now, the Spaniard and his family are enjoying their downtime before he slips on the gloves later next year.

Alexander Volkanovski, who entered the octagon for a fairly friendly face-off with 'El Matador,' is the favorite to face him next. The pair previously crossed swords at UFC 298, where Topuria flattened Volkanovski with a second-round knockout. Since then, the legendary Australian has campaigned for an immediate rematch.
However, Volkanovski has expressed an interest in fighting at UFC 312, which takes place in Sydney, Australia. Unfortunately, as the event is set for Feb. 9, 2025, it is too quick a turnaround for Topuria. Moreover, the Spaniard does not feel like Volkanovski, as the challenger, should be fighting on home soil.
Instead, Topuria feels that their fight should be in Madrid, Spain, and certainly not at UFC 312. For now, it seems likely that 'The Great' will instead face Diego Lopes for the interim featherweight title until Topuria is ready to return to the octagon.
