Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones attended Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony and victory rally, sharing snaps from the event on social media. The photos featured prominent figures such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Jake and Logan Paul.
Trump took the oath of office for his second term as U.S. president on Monday at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The event was attended by several high-profile personalities, including the Paul brothers, UFC fighters, Joe Rogan and Dana White.
‘Bones’ took to Instagram to share photos from the event, accompanied by a heartfelt message. The UFC champion wrote:
“It was truly an honor to welcome and celebrate the 47th President of the United States. The evening was nothing short of extraordinary—a night filled with pride, unity, and gratitude for the opportunity to witness such a historic moment. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Jon Jones revealed that he was personally invited by President Donald Trump to attend his inauguration ceremony.
He also highlighted that it is a great time for the UFC, given Dana White's close friendship with Trump. Jones said:
"Donald and Dana White have become pretty good friends, and it's a really cool time to be in the UFC, being American, being a champion, getting an invite from the president. It's quite a big deal.
"At the end of the day, you know, despite what political party you're in, I'm American, and I was personally invited by our president,”
