Paddy Pimblett hints at potential fight with Michael Chandler
Michael Chandler is searching for his next opponent following his loss at UFC 309.
On his YouTube channel, UK lightweight Paddy Pimblett revealed his plans and hinted that a fight announcement would be coming soon. Pimblett ended the video with Chandler's most famous catchphrase, “See you at the top,” saying:
“I’m coming for that belt, so I’m looking for higher ranked fighters now. I’m sure you will see a fight announcement soon enough. I’ve said yeah, the opponent said yeah, just need to get stuff signed. So, you know the score, everyone. Like, comment, subscribe, and I’ll see you at the top.”
If the fight between Chandler and Pimblett gets booked, it’s likely that ‘The Baddy’ will compete in the UFC’s return to London next March.
The UK native last fought at UFC 304 in front of his home crowd, where he secured a first-round victory via triangle choke submission against King Green.
