Aljamain Sterling vs. Movsar Evloev rebooked for UFC 310
Aljamain Sterling is gearing up for a thrilling featherweight showdown against undefeated standout Movsar Evloev at UFC 310 on Dec. 7. The pair was originally scheduled to collide at UFC 307 last month. However, 'Funk Master' was forced to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.
After dropping the 135-pound title to Sean O'Malley last year, Sterling made a successful featherweight debut as he out-grappled Calvin Kattar en route to a unanimous decision. Ranked No.9 in the division, the New Yorker will look to continue his climb up the divisional ladder against an unbeaten opponent.
Evloev (18-0), meanwhile, is 8-0 in the UFC and is coming off a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Arnold Allen earlier this year. The Russian will look to insert himself into title contention by securing his first finish in the UFC.
