After including Trevejo in an Instagram live video, Garcia officially introduced the 21-year-old as his "girlfriend" to fans. 'King Ryan' has long been fond of the Cuban star, a relationship that has been criticized by many due to the boxer's involvement with her while she was a minor.

Garcia's post was met with criticism from nearly every viewer, including his own mother. The 25-year-old's mother, Lisa Garcia, expressed her thoughts on the supposed relationship by commenting on her son's Instagram post.

Is Ryan Garcia married?

The last time Ryan Garcia was rumored to be romantically involved with Malu Trevejo he was married, further increasing the criticism around the situation. However, in July 2024, the boxer is no longer with his ex-wife, Andrea Celina.

The couple shockingly announced their divorce on social media the day after their youngest son was born in January. They had been married for just under three years, tying the knot in 2021.

Despite announcing their divorce, Garcia claimed to still be with Celina on several occasions in the following months but would also insist he was with several other women.
