Fans criticized a post alleging that prominent businessmen and internet personalities like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk, among others, led the American people to a "global cult" under the guise of supporting Donald Trump.
While the mainstream media appeared to be largely critical of Trump and the Republican party, Trump shared his vision through several podcast appearances and social media. Most notably, his interaction with Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast generated a lot of discussion on the internet.
While Trump comfortably cruised to victory, English conspiracy theorist and former footballer David Icke recently took to X and alleged:
"Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Russell Brand, Bret Weinstein, Jimmy Dore, Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, Luke Rudkowski, on and on it goes - the fake and hijacked 'alternative' media have Pied Pipered you into the lair of the Global Cult under the guise of Trump. I did warn you, but mega abuse was my reward. Maybe now people who bought the latest most obvious and blatant lies will see that politics is not the answer - it's the problem, the diversion - so that must mean the answer is US then. When WILL that penny drop?"

Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump while sharing podcast episode featuring Elon Musk
Joe Rogan, a popular podcaster and UFC color commentator, has interacted with people from all walks of life on his podcast. While he did not align with Democratic or Republican politics in the past, that changed ahead of the 2024 United States presidential elections.
The 57-year-old took to X to share the recent podcast episode featuring Elon Musk. Rogan expressed his thoughts on Musk's assessment of Trump in the caption, admitting that it was an endorsement for the Republican party candidate. He wrote:
"The great and powerful @elonmusk. If it wasn't for him we'd be f***ed. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that's an endorsement of Trump."
Trump won a landslide victory in the elections to earn his second tenure as the United States president. As specified in the US Constitution's 20th amendment, the president-elect will be sworn in on Jan. 20, 2025, and assume office immediately after swearing-in.
