The highly-anticipated Emanuel Muniz vs. Anthony Blackburn clash has reached its denouement. Held on Friday night at the Fontainebleau Resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada, this matchup was the co-main event of the Power Slap 8 card.

Blackburn successfully clinched the Power Slap welterweight title from the defending champion, Muniz, in a tightly contested battle, securing victory by split decision after an intense exchange of slaps.

With this victory, 'Babyface' extended his unbeaten streak to five, boasting a slap-fighting record of 4-0 with one no-contest, including two knockout wins. Meanwhile, 'No Love' saw his slap-fighting record fall to 5-3.

Blackburn won the coin toss, earning the chance to strike first. The challenger unleashed a powerful windup in the first round, but Muniz absorbed it effortlessly, showing no signs of distress. When it was Muniz's turn, he delivered a fierce slap, but Blackburn remained unshaken, responding with a defiant taunt.

In the second round, 'Babyface' delivered another solid slap, but 'No Love' remained unfazed. When Muniz countered with a powerful strike of his own, Blackburn stood his ground with unwavering resolve.

In the third round, both fighters unleashed powerful slaps that landed with considerable force. By this point, their reactions revealed that both opponents had endured significant damage.

In the fourth round, Muniz showcased his resilience by effortlessly weathering Blackburn's attacks. He retaliated with a thunderous slap that staggered his opponent, delivering such force that it sent Blackburn's cotton inner ear protectors flying.

As the scorecards were revealed, they reflected the nail-biting contest, with two judges favoring Blackburn 48-47 and one scoring it 48-47 in favor of Muniz, thereby crowning Blackburn the new welterweight champion through a split-decision victory.
