Undefeated Shamil Erdogan looks to make a huge impact in his next fight under the ONE Championship banner.

The Turkish contender has built a steady force of momentum during his career that has built up to this point.

At ONE 168, Erdogan is set for his biggest test to date when he takes on former double champion Aung La N Sang.

The ONE veteran has done it all during his time in the promotion and despite being in the twilight of his career, is still right at the top.

'The Burmese Python' also has a habit of taking on and sending back the division's new contender which is exactly what he will look to do at the Ball Arena in Denver on Sept. 6.

Erdogan knows that this is his ticket to the top of the division because by beating Aung La, there's only the champion above him.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the rising contender spoke about how in his opinion, he's coming in at a level above his opponent:

"It's unlikely that he will be able to defend against my attacks. I'm on a different level in wrestling, so he should prepare to dive into deep waters."

Shamil Erdogan must use his advantages in this fight

Shamil Erdogan is never going to be able to match the level of experience that his opponent brings to the table. Aung La N Sang is a crafty veteran who is at home when he's stepping inside the Circle to compete.

The undefeated fighter may lack experience but he makes up for that with his unbeaten confidence and age on his side. After beating Fan Rong last time out, going on to take out 'The Burmese Python' will truly announce him on the global stage.

What better stage to do that on than the Ball Arena in Denver?
