Boxing legend Naseem Hamed's son Sami picked up a dominant victory over Jesse Clarke at the MF & DAZN: X Series 17 event which went down at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Sami Hamed was in cruise control from the opening bell, finding his rhythm and establishing control with sharp combinations. In the opening minute, Hamed's stinging jab repeatedly found its mark as he dictated the tempo of the fight. Clarke swarmed in with some counterpunches. However, the patented Hamed footwork proved to be effective, as the 26-year-old circled his opponent to create angles.
He picked up the pace in the second frame and unleashed heavy artillery with straight rights and uppercuts. Hamed targeted Clarke's compounding damage with pinpoint accuracy and landed precision strikes. In the end, his opponent's corner had seen enough and they threw in the towel for the referee to step in and conclude the contest. With that, Hamed walked away with a TKO win (doctor's stoppage) at the 2:21 mark of the second round.
