Fans throughout the world have taken notice of Dana White's latest apology to Israel Adesanya for attempting to remove Francis Ngannou's legacy from the UFC. Many blasted White, while some urged him to apologize to Ngannou rather than Adesanya.

For context, before UFC 305, Adesanya expressed his displeasure with the promotion for removing Ngannou's name from the UFC 305 Countdown show, despite mentioning the former heavyweight champion at his press conference.

During an interview with ESPN MMA, the former middleweight champion looked determined to correct this whole situation involving 'The Predator', saying:

''We need to fix this. I don't like that. I don't like the fact we're trying to cut out a really important part of history. It's silly. It's really silly but we'll fix that. That's for later on. We'll fix that.''

However, in a recent phone call with Kevin Iole, White took full responsibility for Ngannou's removal from the UFC 305 promo videos. The UFC CEO also stated that he has already apologized for it to Adesanya:

''I'm in charge of everything production-related, so at the end of the day, the fact that it happened falls on me 100 percent. It's my responsibility and I accept it. Blame me for that. I put them in such a tough spot sometimes saying all this crazy sh*t, it's hard for them... Totally on me. I already called Israel Adesanya and apologized for it.''
