Rapper Tony Yayo recently commented on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight that took place on Nov. 24, 2024.
Paul won by unanimous decision in the eight-round fight, showcasing dominance over the former heavyweight champion, who struggled to keep up with the younger opponent. Tyson, who had not competed professionally since 2006, struggled to land meaningful punches throughout the fight.
In a recent interview with VladTV, Yayo noted the significant drop in Tyson's performance compared to his training videos, which has led many to speculate that the fight was rigged. He then shared what people on "the streets" are discussing about the fight's legitimacy:
"Listen, the streets are saying, they thought it was a money grab because when you see [Tyson] train, he looks like the same guy from Brownsville. And then, when he got into the ring, it was horrible. He was biting his glove, and we didn't know what's going on."

He concluded:
"So it looks like... Well, the streets... They be like, 'No, man. Jake Paul gave that man a f* extra two million, man.' Well, they both eat but at the same time, it's different when somebody hitting you back."

How did Jake Paul and Mike Tyson respond to the rigging allegations?
Jake Paul, addressing skepticism about his fight with Mike Tyson being 'rigged,' spoke on Logan Paul's 'Impaulsive' podcast shortly after the bout. He claimed that the threat of his power kept Tyson from fully engaging offensively, leading uninformed fans to make rigging allegations. Paul said:
"People are like, 'Oh, it's rigged because look at him on the pads, but he didn't do this in the fight.' Because someone is punching back dumb f*s! People don't realize my power, my jab, my speed and my ability and my footwork to get out of the way of those punches. So then, all of a sudden, he's throwing at, literally air! He can't land those punches on me."

Tyson was also asked to share his thoughts on the fight during his appearance on the 'Covino and Rich Show' on Fox Sports Radio in December 2024. He responded:
"I don't remember the fight that much. I kind of blanked out a little."
When asked about the online claims that he was deliberately holding back from throwing punches, as suggested in a viral video clip from the fight, Tyson replied:
"You know what I remember? Coming back from the first round and the next thing I remember Jake was doing some kind of [a bow]... That's the last thing I remember."
