Jake Paul has lately been linked to a potential $100 million fight against KSI, which marks another notable development in the long-running rivalry between the two YouTube-cum-boxing stars. On that note, Paul's boxing promotion, MVP (Most Valuable Promotions) has put forth a seemingly photoshopped image of Paul against KSI, drawing mixed reactions from fans.
KSI is no stranger to Jake Paul and his older brother, WWE superstar and boxer Logan Paul. KSI fought Logan to a majority draw in 2018, while Jake stopped KSI's younger brother Deji Olatunji via TKO in amateur boxing bouts on the same card. KSI later defeated Logan via split decision in a professional boxing bout in 2019.
Eventually, KSI became a close business partner with Logan, but the Englishman's rivalry against Jake intensified. KSI has lately indicated that he'd be open to fighting Jake in a 185-pound catchweight pro boxing bout.
Jake Paul, who generally competes at cruiserweight (200 pounds) and last fought at heavyweight (200+ pounds), has suggested he's unlikely to cut to 185 pounds. Paul's advisor and MVP co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian, recently asserted that Jake won't fight KSI at 185 pounds unless he's guaranteed a $100 million payday.

MVP Promotions' official X handle has now tweeted an apparently edited image, a poster for a potential Jake vs. KSI match, featuring Jake as a considerably heavier version of himself. The statement in the tweet read:
"If Jake Paul vs KSI at 185lbs can only happen when Jake Paul receives $100M... Who wins at that weight?"
Fight fans soon chimed in on the MVP tweet. Multiple netizens seemed to jest about Jake Paul's appearance. One X user noted:
"Looks like he cut too much weight"
Some commenters alluded to the fight-fixing allegations against Jake. One observer wrote:
"Another fake boxing match"
Multiple fans predicted that the fight would never materialize
"The fight will never happen"
One fan questioned:
"100 million to diet?"
People were divided about the grueling weight cut's possible adverse effects on Jake against KSI. Some highlighted Jake could instead fight top boxers who are calling him out. Several commenters insinuated he was pricing himself out. Another fan referenced the recently reignited Jake vs. KSI discussions:
"I have a feeling something is going on behind the scenes...there's a lot a smoke around this fight and usually when there's smoke there is fire."

Jake Paul vs. KSI: 'The Problem Child' teases next fight, addresses potential Conor McGregor-Logan Paul match
The combat and pop culture realms were recently sent into a tizzy, as ex-two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor tweeted about being in discussions to face Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match organized by the Ambani Family in India.
Meanwhile, Jake Paul jibed at longtime rival McGregor, claiming that 'The Notorious' needs the Pauls and was even pursuing a fight against him (Jake).
'The Problem Child' later made waves with a tweet of his own, hinting at a major boxing announcement in January 2025. Names such as his former opponents Nate Diaz and Tommy Fury have been cited as possible candidates for his next match, but nothing's officially confirmed yet. Paul tweeted:
"Big announcement in January. Boxing."
