Paddy Pimblett picked up the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career in his last trip to the octagon. He was able to defeat Bobby 'King' Green via first-round submission at UFC 304 in July to enter the lightweight rankings for the first time. While 'The Baddy' was looking to compete once more in 2024, he was unable to find an opponent.

MMA Orbit recently shared a question to fans, asking if the No.13-ranked lightweight - who has not lost since 2018, winning eight bouts, six of which were in the UFC over that span - will suffer a loss in 2025, tweeting:

"⁉️ 2025 Predictions: Will Paddy Pimblett lose a fight in 2025? 🤔👇"

Fans shared their prediction for Pimblett's upcoming year. @nacionalonso claimed that No.15-ranked lightweight Joel Alvarez would hand him his first loss in the UFC:

"Put him in front of Alvarez, he will put him to sleep"

@JackMcScumbag believes that the UFC will give 'The Baddy' favorable matchups:

"Not seeing the vision. Not a big fan, but with Conor washed and the court case, AND the top brass using kids gloves with their picks for Paddy, I think they wanna prime him to be the next Conor. So no, unless it's an absolute killer from the top 5."

@Combat_History suggested that if the No.13-ranked lightweight fights up, he will lose to any opponent except one:

"I think everyone ahead of him in the rankings will beat him except maybe Beneil."

@OctogonOdussy predicted that Pimblett is more likely to become a serious contender than lose:

"No, Paddy is hitting 155 at a sweet spot where everyone in the top 15 is old and mid except for Islam and Arman. He could become a serious contender before losing."

Paddy Pimblett calls out fan page for spreading false rumors

Paddy Pimblett has not revealed the opponent he plans to face when he makes his return to the octagon. X fan page @realruebenking, however, claimed that the No.13-ranked lightweight has signed two different contracts - while being in talks with a third opponent - for UFC Fight Night 255, which will take place in London in March.

'The Baddy' responded to those claims by calling out the fan page, tweeting:

"Don’t know why people even take notice of this absolute helmet running this page he hasn’t got a clue what he’s talking about 🤣🤣"

Check out Paddy Pimblett's tweet below:

Pimblett remains without an opponent, or date, for his next bout. He previously expressed interest in facing Renato Moicano, who is set to clash with Beneil Dariush at UFC 311 next weekend.
