Danielle Kelly revealed how she will beat Mayssa Bastos' jiu-jitsu when they return to the ring at ONE Fight Night 26.

The 27-year-old superstar has devised a plan that will help her reclaim her ONE atomweight submission grappling world title this Friday at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

One way to achieve that is to ramp up the pressure and aggression against her Brazilian adversary right from the start.

Speaking to ONE, Kelly doubled down by saying:

"So yeah, I think the goal is to be more aggressive and just go after her in this match. I'll need to put the pressure on her, definitely, you know."

After dominating this sport over the past two years, Kelly finally met her match in Brazilian phenom Mayssa Bastos.

The Brazilian star outscored the former champ by one point with her aggression and submission-hunting game plan.

Kelly, too, showed that she wasn't going to be bullied by Bastos. However, by the time the American had her rival figured out with some great openings, it was too late. This time around, there's no reason to be hesitant.

ONE Fight Night 26 airs live from Bangkok, Thailand via Prime Video with an active North American subscription.

"She's definitely beatable and submittable" - Danielle Kelly is convinced that she can submit Mayssa Bastos

Danielle Kelly is confident that she will finish the job and submit Mayssa Bastos on Friday.

As mentioned above, Kelly had her moments in her last world title defense at ONE Fight Night 24.

Although it arrived later in the match, she showed resilience and strength in her ability to pass Bastos' guard to go for the attack.

Unfortunately, it arrived too late into the game, but Kelly holds on to the fact that she almost had her.

"She's definitely beatable and submittable. The last couple of seconds [of the first match], if there was a minute or two more, she was gonna get submitted."
