After winning the WBO featherweight title in December 2023, Rafael Espinoza will attempt his first title defense on June 21 against Sergio Chirino. The fight will headline a seven-fight card broadcasted on ESPN+ in the United States and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom.
Promoted by Top Rank Boxing, Espinoza and Chirino will meet at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Nevada. The event is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET/midnight GMT.
Espinoza, 30, enters the fight at 24-0 on the heels of his crowning victory over Robeisy Ramirez. After getting knocked down for the first time in his career, Espinoza rallied in the later rounds to find his knockdown in the 12th round and squeeze out a majority decision.

Chirino, 29, will ride a 13-fight win streak into his first world title fight. Since losing to Mauricio Lara in 2018, Chirino has not lost, most recently defeating Dennis Contreras in February.
