Daniel Cormier was caught on a UFC broadcast running back to the commentary desk during a Megan Olivi standup and online fans are cracking jokes. An Instagram account called @srandemup posted a photo of the incident describing it as one of the pound-for-pound funniest MMA screenshots ever.
The screenshot itself was credited to an X user called @kolioko_ and fans offered their own silly explanations for why DC was caught away from the booth and having to hustle back to it.
Combat sports enthusiasts on Instagram commented in droves at the photo.

Daniel Cormier and some of his many humorous moments
Daniel Cormier is someone who has on several occasions found himself in some funny moments, both intentionally and unintentionally.
The 45-year-old relatively recently had many in stitches during a UFC pay-per-view broadcast when he had a fairly overt fumble during an in-cage interview. When Belal Muhammad unseated Leon Edwards to become the new welterweight champion at UFC 304 in Manchester, Cormier inadvertently referred to Muhammad as Edwards.
This takes on an additional level of humor when considering Muhammad's nickname is 'Remember the Name'. Daniel Cormier did admittedly quickly correct himself and apologize to the newly minted titleholder but it did still illicit laughter from many.
The former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion also got off a crack at Conor McGregor during the UFC 305 morning weigh-in show that had many cracking up. Sports commentator Dan Hellie named McGregor as one of his top five UFC stars to have a beer with. Cormier teased the commentator by saying to be careful as 'The Notorious' likes to punch old men in the head while drinking.
This is a reference to the Irishman punching a 50-year-old man at the Marble Arch Pub after the gentleman reportedly refused an adult beverage from McGregor.
The Louisiana native also showed his love for state-based fried chicken in a skit that is one of the first things people think of as it relates to DC being funny. This transpired at the 2015 World MMA Awards with Daniel Cormier doing a parody of the song "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor by stating that he's all about that cake and chicken with him showing off his affinity for Popeyes.
