Randy Brown has almost confirmed that he is indeed going to fight surging welterweight Jack Della Maddalena at the UFC 284 event. It was recently reported that Brown will likely face Della Maddalena at UFC 284 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, on February 12th, 2023.

The Brown vs. Della Maddalena matchup hasn't been officially announced yet. However, as reported by MMA Junkie, the fight has been booked. Prior to the aforementioned report, Brown took to Twitch to reveal that he'll be competing against Della Maddalena in Perth, Australia.

Additionally, Randy Brown has taken to Instagram to reiterate that he'll fight in Perth. 'Rude Boy' posted a video of himself hitting the focus mitts. The 32-year-old Brown also attached a statement alongside it, which read as follows:

"I'm coming to Perth"

As for Jack Della Maddalena, he's fresh off a first-round TKO victory over Danny Roberts, whom he fought in November 2022. The Australian fighter subsequently spoke to Full Send MMA and predicted that he'll surely compete at UFC 284. Della Maddalena stated:

"A hundred percent, yeah. I think there's no question I will be on that card [UFC 284], no doubt."

When Randy Brown couldn't contain his excitement after his incredible submission of Alex Oliveira

Presently, Randy Brown is on a four-fight win streak. The Jamaican-American fighter is set to clash against highly-touted prospect Jack Della Maddalena, who's on a 13-fight win streak. Needless to say, Brown is seemingly excited about fighting at UFC 284. Speaking of which, the commencement of Brown's current win streak was similarly marked by his unbridled excitement.

After suffering a KO loss against Vicente Luque in August 2020, Brown returned to fight Alex Oliveira at UFC 261 in April 2021. The star-studded MMA event witnessed the UFC welcome fans back to venues at full capacity after COVID-related restrictions marred live sporting events throughout 2020 and 2021.

The back-and-forth Brown-Oliveira matchup electrified the fans in attendance at UFC 261, as Brown notably knocked down and then submitted his foe in round one. True to his name, 'Rude Boy' proceeded to celebrate by flipping Oliveira off, only for the latter to respond by laughing to de-escalate the situation.
