Raul Rosas Jr. is the youngest fighter in history to be officially signed by the UFC, and the Mexican will make his much-anticipated debut this weekend at UFC 282.

Rosas Jr. will take on Jay Perrin in a three-round bantamweight contest in Las Vegas.

Perrin looks like a great starting point for the young Mexican fighter, with 'The Joker' yet to win under the UFC banner. The 29-year-old has back-to-back decision losses against Mario Bautista and Aoriqileng.

However, many would expect 'El Nino Problema' to get the better of Perrin at UFC 282, given that the Mexican is currently undefeated and has made easy work of many of his opponents in professional MMA.

Raul Rosas Jr. joined the UFC after beating Mando Gutierrez via unanimous decision in Dana White's Contender Series. He will be making his first walk to the UFC octagon this weekend, riding a perfect pro-MMA record of 6-0-0.

Jay Perrin has struggled to win when competing in the biggest MMA organizations, remaining winless in Bellator, UFC, and Dana White's Contender Series.

As mentioned, this seems like a great starting opponent for the 18-year-old's UFC career.

However, Jay Perrin will likely be fighting for survival. A loss against Rosas Jr. could end his organizational career, and he could be cut from the UFC.

Which organization was Raul Rosas Jr. fighting in before joining the UFC?

Raul Rosas Jr. fought five times under the Ultimate Warrior Challenge: Mexico before getting a shot in Dana White's Contender SerieS, where he earned a spot on the official UFC roster.

'El Nino Problema' remained unbeaten during all of his UWC bouts, with the Mexican winning all but one of his contests inside the first five minutes. Only Jose Guadalupe Penaloza managed to survive the first round, but got quickly finished in the second round back in early 2022.

Raul Rosas Jr. has been very active, having already fought five times in 2022. The Mexican will be making his sixth professional MMA appearance this year against Jay Perrin at UFC 282 this weekend.

Rosas Jr. will be hoping to continue his unbeaten professional MMA record on his UFC debut, which looks likely given Perrin's struggles in high-level organizations.
