Marat Grigorian is geared up for his comeback fight this Friday.
The Armenian superstar looks to restart his march for a potential world title shot when he takes on Abdelali Zahidi at ONE Friday Fights 92 inside the historic Lumpinee Stadium on Friday.
Famed trainer Nick Hemmers traveled to Thailand with Grigorian, and he believes his prized student is ready to light Bangkok up the moment the opening bell rings.

Hemmers wrote on Instagram:
"Ready to go! Last training done today! @maratgrigorian is ready to bring the fire this Friday!! Let’s go 🔥🔥💯💯💎 ready for war!! The champ is coming!! Thx to @fairtex for our gear and for always giving us a warm welcome in Pattaya 🇹🇭"
Grigorian's home gym, Hemmers Gym, is situated in Breda, Netherlands, but he and Hemmers often set up camp at the famed Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand whenever he has a fight lined up in Bangkok.
Considered one of the greatest kickboxers of this generation, Grigorian is a three-time Glory Kickboxing world champion and currently ranks second in the stacked featherweight kickboxing division in ONE Championship
The 33-year-old striker, however, came up short in a thrilling back-and-forth against rival Superbon for the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title at ONE Friday Fights 58 earlier this year.
Nevertheless, a win over Zahidi in Bangkok could right the course of Marat Grigorian's ship as he looks to reach the world title picture once more.
Thai superstar Superbon says he'll fight Marat Grigorian as many times as he wants
There have been many rivalries in ONE Championship, and one of the most intense is the one between Superbon and Marat Grigorian.
The pair faced each other three times over their storied careers, with Superbon taking a 2-1 lead in their head-to-head series at ONE Friday Fights 58 in April this year.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Superbon said he'll never get tired of taking on Grigorian and he would jump at the chance to face his rival at a moment's notice:
"I can face him again plenty more times, I don't care. I can fight him again and again. I never run from anyone."
