The post has garnered the attention of fans and sparked hilarious reactions online.

During the UFC 311 media day, Makhachev shared a story of how 'Young Eagle' once put diesel in the team car instead of gasoline. He recalled the incident and stated:

“One time we were training in San Jose and like some of the guys say, let’s go to San Francisco. I told them, Hey, no, I don’t want to go to San Francisco because some of the time, there’s traffic more than one hour...They just leave four people and I called them after two hours. Hey, where are you guys? You reach San Francisco?"

He added:

"They say, No, we reached the hotel where we leave from. I said, What happened? They told me, We go to the gas station and Umar put diesel in our car."

An account named Home of Fight on X claimed that the lightweight champ did not tell the entire story on media day. They added a video of Makhachev allegedly punishing 'Young Eagle' for putting diesel in the car instead of gasoline.

Islam Makhachev praises Umar Nurmagomedov ahead of UFC 311

Islam Makhachev will defend his lightweight strap at UFC 311 against Arman Tsarukyan. Meanwhile, Umar Nurmagomedov will attempt to dethrone bantamweight king Merab Dvalishvili on the same night.

Despite Dvalishvili claiming that Nurmagomedov doesn’t deserve a title shot, Makhachev has different views about his teammate. Here's what he said on the media day:

"I know Umar more than 10 years. This guy’s the most disciplined guy in our gym... He traveled a lot with us, and he was training last 10 years with us everywhere. This guy’s hungry."
