Recently released Patricio 'Pitbull' disclosed his list of preferred opponents should he join the UFC and make his octagon debut. The Brazilian noted that he wants to join the MMA leader for his legacy, but surprisingly omitted Alexander Volkanovski as a top priority.

There was plenty of speculation surrounding the former two-division Bellator champion's next move after he blasted PFL Chairman Donn Davis in a tirade on X and was finally granted his release from the promotion. 'Pitbull' made his intentions clear that he wanted out and after being granted his release, directed a post toward the former UFC featherweight champion.

During his latest appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the Bellator legend expressed interest in a UFC move and shed light on his aspirations. 'Pitbull' disclosed that he has three opponents in mind, including Volkanovski, but mentioned that he is aiming for a champion vs. champion bout:

"Let's do that fight [with Volkanovski]. He's the number-one contender, I want that belt, and he's the guy...[Ilia] Topuria is my top choice...Champion vs. champion...Diego Lopes is a good one [if Topuria and Volkanovski are fighting]."

Patricio 'Pitbull' says there are no conditions on his PFL release

In addition to disclosing his list of preferred opponents for his UFC debut, Patricio 'Pitbull' said that there are no conditions on his PFL release.

During the aforementioned release, 'Pitbull' mentioned that his PFL release initially granted a matching clause for the promotion, which would give them the right to match any offer and retain him on their roster. However, it no longer appears to be the case after the Brazilian exchanged messages with Donn Davis:

"The first time they sent me the release letter, they were keeping the matching rights and I think someone had tweeted after it and I sent Donn [Davis] a direct message on Twitter as well. And later that day...PFL called my management team and said my release would be unconditional, so right now I'm waiting for the new letter."
