Reece Bellotti plans to extend career resurgence by defending his British and Commonwealth super featherweight titles.
Between mid-2018 and mid-2021, Bellotti's professional boxing career went through a devastating chapter, as he lost five of seven fights. Since then, the Watford native has bounced back with five consecutive wins, claiming the British and Commonwealth super featherweight straps along the way.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, Bellotti will defend his titles in the co-main event before Jack Catterall vs. Regis Prograis. The 33-year-old's upcoming opponent is Michael Gomez Jr, who hasn't lost a fight since March 2019.
Heading into Saturday's event, Gomez Jr has established an eleven-fight winning streak, including a sixth-round knockout for the English title last time out. The 29-year-old plans to defeat Bellotti, extending his professional record to 22-1 and adding to his resume of super featherweight titles.
