'The Immortal' Regian Eersel has been ruling his kickboxing throne with an iron fist. The Surinamese-Dutch fighter is now looking to add a Muay Thai crown to his mantle at ONE on Prime Video 3.

After four defenses of his ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship, the 29-year-old will challenge for the inaugural ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title on October 21. In his way of further glory is Thai knockout artist Sinsamut Klinmee.

Making history as a two-sport world champion is not an easy task. Eersel, however, does not feel any additional pressure. In an interview with ONE Championship, he explained:

“No, I don’t feel pressure. Just because I have been able to do it for the last six years. And yeah, it motivates me a little bit. Yeah, I’m undefeated for six years. Not many fighters are undefeated in six years, so yeah, but I’m not thinking about that when I go inside of the circle. I’m just thinking that I have to win. I have to beat the guy in front of me.”

ONE on Prime Video 3 will go down on October 21. Thailand's Sinsamut Klinmee will look to add ONE gold to his name for the first time, while Regian Eersel tries to make history with a second world title.

Regian Eersel believes ONE on Prime Video 3 fight will end via knockout

Regian Eersel and Sinsamut Klinmee's lightweight Muay Thai clash will be a high-stakes fight. Both of these men have unyielding determination and knockout power in their hands.

'The Immortal' does not know exactly when, but he predicts this world title showdown will end via knockout. In an interview with Beyond Kickboxing, he said:

"My only prediction is I don’t think we’re going to make the fifth round. That’s my prediction. And I hope I will be standing there and he’s laying on the floor."

The Thai fighter later shared the same sentiment. During ONE on Prime Video 3 media day, Sinsamut Klinmee said:

"This upcoming fight is important to me as we are fighting for the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title belt, and I wish to knock him out in the second round.”
