The 29-year-old is putting together an incredible legacy and continues to add more achievements to his name.

At ONE on Prime Video 3 this past weekend, he defeated Sinsamut Klinmee to add Muay Thai gold to his mantle. He has now made history as a two-sport world champion.

The only other fighters who have been able to earn world titles in ONE Championship across two different sports simultaneously are all-time greats Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Stamp Fairtex.

Regian Eersel on how he wants to be remembered

Over his 20-fight win streak, Regian Eersel has created an incredible legacy in combat sports. 'The Immortal' has explained that he wants to be considered a legend in his lifetime.

In an interview with Beyond Kickboxing, Eersel explained exactly what his goals are, saying:

"Five or 10 years from now, I hope the people will see me as a living legend by then. Because of what I’ve accomplished. I hope I will put on very great fights for the fans. When they see me, I want them to say, 'Oh man, that’s a very good fighter. Did you watch his fight against this guy and his fight against that guy? He’s legendary.’ I want to be remembered like that."

Regian Eersel grew up watching the golden age of kickboxing on television and was inspired by fighters like Peter Aerts, Tyron Spong, and Badr Hari. 'The Immortal' is now carving his name among the all-time greats in the striking sport one win at a time.
