Reinier de Ridder is yet to find his equal inside the circle. In his seven MMA fights under the ONE Championship banner, ‘The Dutch Knight’ has preserved his undefeated record. Moreover, he has finished five of those and won two world championships in the process.

At ONE on Prime Video 5, de Ridder will defend his light heavyweight world championship for the first time in the main event on December 2. In a clash between two undefeated world champions, interim heavyweight champion Anatoly Malykhin will move down a weight class to try and take de Ridder’s double champion status for himself.

The event is live and free for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.

Anatoly Malykhin presents a new challenge for the defending champion, coming into the fight with three statement knockout wins inside the circle. With Malykhin’s power advantage, de Ridder has the answer to his challenger's biggest weapon.

Reinier de Ridder vs. Anatoly Malykhin will headline ONE on Prime Video 5, which is set to be one of the biggest events of the year. With four world championships on the line under four different rulesets, it's likely to be an unforgettable night.

“His jiu-jitsu game has not evolved” – Reinier de Ridder thinks Anatoly Malykhin’s ground game is one-dimensional

Middleweight and light heavyweight world champion Reinier de Ridder believes his next opponent Anatoly Malykhin lacks versatility.

‘The Dutch Knight’ will be looking to make his third title defense of 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 5. He'll try to defend his light heavyweight world championship against the interim heavyweight champ.

The event takes place on a titanic double-header card on Friday, December 2, at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.

The grappling expert has already flexed his submission skills this year. He defended his middleweight title with two submission finishes and competed against Andre Galvao in a grappling match at ONE X.

Reinier de Ridder doesn’t believe that his opponent can challenge him when it comes to grappling. Speaking to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) recently, ‘The Dutch Knight’ said:

“His grappling is not really there. His jiu-jitsu game has not evolved, at all, as far as I’ve seen his fights. He doesn’t pass guard. He only gets takedowns, and he stays at full guard and tries to pound the guy out – which he’s pretty successful at, though. I’m not being too critical there."
