Reinier de Ridder’s run in ONE Championship has been nothing short of spectacular, and it’s far from over. Debuting for the promotion in 2019, ‘The Dutch Knight’ has gone on unbeaten, capturing the ONE middleweight and light heavyweight world championships in the process.
With an undefeated record of 16-0 and a reputation for being a destroyer of champions, de Ridder has become one of ONE's biggest draws.
In his return to the circle on December 2, Reinier de Ridder will headline an event packed with four incredible world title fights. Discussing his newfound fame in the world of mixed martial arts, ‘The Dutch Knight’ told Morning Kombat:
“It’s cool man, it’s very cool. Look at a card...like the card I’m on this time, there’s a lot of big names on there. And for some reason, it’s always me on top [headlining]. So it’s pretty special to be the main guy, to have that in my life is very cool. It’s very special.”

Anatoly Malykhin believes his knockout streak will continue against Reinier de Ridder at ONE on Prime Video 5
Anatoly Malykhin burst into ONE Championship, delivering back-to-back knockouts of Alexandre Machado and Amir Aliakbari on his way to ONE interim heavyweight title fight with Kirill Grishenko.
‘Sladkiy’ delivered yet another highlight-reel knockout against the Belarusian striker, capturing his first ONE world title in the process.
Nearly a year removed from his last victory, Malykhin will put his iconic knockout power to test against one of the most dangerous Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world.
Malyhin told ONE Championship that Reinier de Ridder will forget all about his BJJ skills once he tastes the power the Russian juggernaut possesses:
“If I hit him the way he hit Vitaly [Bigdash], he’s unlikely to remember anything about his jiu-jitsu skills. Maybe later, after the knockout, when his team tries to bring him back to life, he might remember that he is a black belt in jiu-jitsu. But overall, he is not a bad fighter. He has a record of 16-0, which is impressive. He is a jiu-jitsu fighter, but this is MMA – let’s see how he adjusts.”
