Reinier de Ridder will attempt to continue his dominant run on December 2 when he defends one of his two world titles in the ONE on Prime Video 5 main event. The show airs live and for free to North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.
‘The Dutch Knight’ is scheduled to defend his light heavyweight world championship against the promotion’s reigning interim heavyweight champion Anatoly Malykhin.
It will be the first time that Reinier de Ridder has matched up against a heavyweight inside the circle. Despite what could very well be a significant size disadvantage, ‘The Dutch Knight’ is far from intimidated. In an interview with the South China Morning Post, de Ridder said:
“I don’t get distracted by this stuff. It does not matter with me. Let him come in 20 pounds heavier, I’ll still finish him.”

Reinier de Ridder’s run inside the circle has been nothing short of mesmerizing. The undefeated Dutchman has practically walked past every man that has stood in front of him. Perhaps his best performance came against his toughest opponent yet at ONE 159 in July.
‘The Dutch Knight’ stepped up to defend his middleweight crown against former world champion Vitaly Bigdash. With many backing Bigdash to be the man to end de Ridder’s undefeated run, fans were left stunned as ‘The Dutch Knight’ finished Bigdash via a third-round inverted triangle choke.
Can Reinier de Ridder keep his incredible undefeated run intact or is the size and power of Anatoly Malykhin too much for the Dutchman to overcome?

Anatoly Malykhin will only need “seven-minutes maximum” to defeat Reinier de Ridder
As confident as Reinier de Ridder is, Anatoly Malykhin is just as confident. Before their champion vs. champion showcase was announced, 'Slakkiy’ sent a word of warning to de Ridder, letting the two-division champion know that a potential fight between the two would end badly for the Dutchman:
“He [de Ridder] is a good fighter, of course, since he holds two belts and has zero [losses on his] record. He is worthy of respect. He has decent wrestling. He strikes very badly and he is a very slow, protracted fighter. Compared to me, I think I will drop him down in seven minutes, maximum."
With the two undefeated stars scheduled to square off on December 2, fans will find out if Anatoly Malykhin can live up to his word. Both men will walk out as a ONE world champion regardless, but someone will most certainly lose their ‘O’ in the process.
