Muay Thai legend Nong-O Hama has delivered show-stopping performances inside the Circle, including his debut masterpiece against Fabio Pinca.

The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king is a perfect 10-0 in the promotion. He's currently riding a five-fight knockout streak with recent finishes over Felipe Lobo, Liam Harrison and, most recently, Alaverdi Ramazanov.

Nong-O says Canadians love Muay Thai, back home preparing for Jonathan Haggerty

Nong-O recently took a trip to Canada and despite not being known as a Muay Thai country, the champ asserts that the Canadian people love the sport, telling ONE:

“This trip has been great because people here really want to learn more about our sport. They’re very friendly, they like to work hard, and they love Muay Thai.”

The legend added:

“I’ve been watching Haggerty for a long time now, going back to his World Title fights against Rodtang. He’s very skilled and uses many different Muay Thai techniques."

The reigning, defending champ's next foe is English striker and former ONE flyweight Muay Thai title holder Jonathan Haggerty. 'The General' won three straight en route to his upcoming title shot.

Haggerty holds a 5-2 record inside the Circle, with his lone losses coming against promotional superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Since then, he has beaten Taiki Naito, Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy and Vladimir Kuzmin.

The ONE Fight Night 9 card is stacked with talent aside from the bantamweight Muay Thai world title bout in the main event slot.

Big-time names like Bokang Masunyane, Hiroba Minowa and Saemapetch Fairtex, amongst others, are scheduled to compete on the card.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 9 on April 21 to watch the great Nong-O attempt to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai world title against England's Jonathan Haggerty, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand.

All of the action will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers across North America.
