American submission grappling ace Tye Ruotolo is set to make his third appearance inside the ONE Championship Circle next month and is looking to stay unscathed.
The Atos-affiliated athlete will take on Reinier de Ridder of the Netherlands in a middleweight submission grappling contest, part of the promotion’s landmark ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video offering on May 5 in Colorado, U.S.A.
Tye Ruotolo hopes to sustain his winning run since joining ONE in 2022, which started with an impressive submission victory over Garry Tonon in their all-American lightweight clash in May last year.
ONE Championship recently uploaded Ruotolo’s debut outing against Tonon on its official YouTube channel for fans to relive heading to the former’s next fight.

American phenom Ruotolo was all business right from the get-go, actively taking the fight to his opponent. The tack paid huge dividends as he was able to finish the contest inside the first two minutes of their 10-minute showdown with a submission by way of D’Arce choke.
For the seamless way the young fighter fashioned out the finish, it got the nod as ONE’s 2022 Grappling Submission of the Year.
Now up against a bigger opponent in Reinier de Ridder, who is the ONE middleweight mixed martial arts world champion, Tye Ruotolo is expecting a different kind of challenge but nonetheless expressed readiness for it.
‘The Dutch Knight’ De Ridder is making his return to submission grappling after last fighting in it a year ago against Ruotolo’s Atos mentor Andre Galvao. The fight ended in a draw.
ONE Fight Night 10 is the promotion’s first-ever live on-ground event in the United States, happening at the 1stBank Center in Colorado. It will be aired live and for free to North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.
