Renato Moicano is backing Kevin Lee to beat Khamzat Chimaev after the 'Motown Phenom' boldly called out the Chechen-born Swede for a fight. After 'Borz' recently claimed that nobody was brave enough to face him, Lee boldly tweeted his challenge while claiming that Chimaev "won't outwrestle" him.

However, Renato Moicano recently tweeted that he thinks Kevin Lee can get the better of Khamzat Chimaev. The No.13-ranked lightweight noted that his words would be considered an "unpopular opinion" and further challenged his followers to prove otherwise.
"Unpopular opinion… Kevin lee can beat Chimaev!!! Prove me wrong…"

Renato Moicano passed Conor McGregor in the lightweight rankings after pulling off an impressive first-round submission victory over Brad Riddell at UFC 281.
However, that didn't stop the Brazilian from getting trolled in replies to his tweet backing Lee over Chimaev. Kevin Lee currently competes in Khabib Nurmagomedov's Eagle FC in the lightweight division and is significantly smaller than Chimaev in size and stature.
Renato Moicano gets trolled for "unpopular opinion" about Khamzat Chimaev and Kevin Lee
As mentioned above, Kevin Lee's call-out to Khamzat Chimaev did not go down well with fans within the MMA community on social media.
'Borz' has dominantly finished every single one of his opponents aside from Gilbert Burns, with whom he went the distance in a memorable fight at UFC 273. With that in mind, many fans and fighters have taken to Twitter to mock Lee's brash callout.
With Renato Moicano backing the American to beat Chimaev on Twitter and inviting fans to prove him wrong, users proceeded to troll Moicano for his opinion.
Here are some replies to the Brazilian's tweets:
@GeneRogersVE seemed to think that Lee paid Moicano to tweet, asking:
"@moicanoufc Bruh, did Kevin Lee pay you to tweet this?"
Twitter User @Boogerbeard1 joked:
"I used to think that too but then I watched both of them fight once and realized that I am an idiot."
User @MakaveliKeith stated:
"No disrespect to you or Kevin but hell no."
Another user @PedroGak asked if the 'Motown Phenom' was paying Moicano to tweet, writing:
"How much money is Kevin Lee paying u? Moicano it better be."
@AnyAction_ thought the Brazilian was intoxicated while tweeting.
"I want what you're smoking bro! pass that!"
@TheFight4MMA asked Renato Moicano to stop fooling around, saying:
"Okay enough jokes money Moicano."
