Moicano, who has become an internet sensation in recent years, released a video on his YouTube channel breaking down UFC Vegas 91. In his predictions, Moicano revealed that Rani Yahya is his former Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach, prompting a fan to comment criticism of his fight style.

The fan pointed out that Moicano has not attempted a submission in the UFC in his last two fights, writing:
"Yahya was your BJJ coach?!?! Wow, he must be embarrassed Renato since you haven't even attempted a submission in a UFC fight since 2022"
Moicano was last credited with a submission attempt at UFC 281 in November 2022 against Brad Riddell. 'Money Moicano' did not fight in 2023 and has since competed twice in 2024, beating both Drew Dober and Jalin Turner without looking for a choke.
Moicano interacted with the fan by responding to the stat, countering with:
"Man I hate you 😂😂😂😂😂"
Although Moicano has not attempted to end a fight by submission in over a year, the Brazilian won his last fight against Turner by TKO in the second round.
