Renato Moicano recently shared a big announcement ahead of UFC 311 and praised his own decision to move to the USA. The Brazilian's announcement comes as he prepares to continue his ascension up the lightweight rankings in hopes of earning a future title shot.

'Money' has gained popularity in recent years through his post-fight interviews, social media posts and his podcast. However, Moicano has also given fans a glimpse into his personal life at times and did so once again on 'UFC 311 Embedded' by sharing a personal announcement regarding his family.

During the latest episode of 'UFC 311 Embedded', the Brazilian announced that he and his wife are expecting another child in June and opened up about his move to the United States. Moicano mentioned that the country's values were a selling point for him and something that he identifies with most:

"My family is about to get a little bigger. My wife is [pregnant] five months...Beginning of June, we're going to have another son...What I like about USA is some of the core values...Hard work, dedication, family, all that stuff. That was the best decision that I ever made cause now I have a house, I have [a] business. But, I'm happy. Life is good. UFC 311 is right around the corner." [3:37]

Who is Renato Moicano fighting at UFC 311?

Renato Moicano will have another great opportunity to continue his impressive form when he takes on Beneil Dariush at UFC 311.

Moicano is currently the No.10 ranked UFC lightweight that is currently riding a 4-fight winning streak and coming off an impressive win over Benoit Saint Denis. Dariush, on the other hand, is the No.9 ranked lightweight and will look to snap his two-fight losing skid that includes losses to Arman Tsarukyan and former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.

Based on the current landscape of the lightweight division, a win for Moicano could possibly result in a significant climb up the rankings, especially considering three fighters ranked above him are coming off losses.
