Renato Moicano recently responded to a fan's proposal for Bruce Buffer to introduce the lightweight contender as 'Money' during his octagon introductions.
Moicano's momentum in the lightweight division remains steadfast, highlighted by a remarkable come-from-behind TKO triumph over Jalin Turner at UFC 300 just weeks ago. With victories in five of his last six bouts, he's demonstrated significant improvement in his skills.
As the 34-year-old Brazilian continues to accumulate victories in the octagon, he cements his reputation as an entertaining figure in the MMA community, often delivering unpredictable and sometimes R-rated remarks during his post-fight interviews.

"Gotta get Bruce to announce you as Money!"

Renato Moicano offers insight into sudden increase in fame
During an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani in February, Renato Moicano weighed in on his escalating fame, acknowledging that he once overlooked the importance of personal branding. The No. 10 ranked lightweight contender stressed the importance of realizing the need to stand out in the fight game, saying:
"Back in the day, I didn't care about the audience, I didn't care about anything.I just cared about fighting, and I feel like most Brazilian fighters, we only think 'I want to do my thing, I want to go to train, and I want to fight'. But when you realize that's not gonna get you too far...I was starting to realize I had to make myself a brand because so many fighters, if you don't do something different, they're not gonna know you.
Moicano added:
"You have to make yourself different than others, and I'm trying to do that. I'm trying to speak my mind, engage more on social media. Not talk sh*t, because I don't want to talk sh*t just to talk sh*t, but I want to do a bit of trash talking to get some fights, and people like it."
