Renato Moicano recently revealed that he has big news for his followers. His words also indicated that his announcement may be related to UFC 311.

Currently, Moicano is training hard to prepare for his UFC 311 fight against the no.9 ranked lightweight contender, Beneil Dariush. 'Money' showcased brilliant resilience in his last encounter against Benoit Saint-Denis where he didn't shy away from taking to the octagon despite an allegedly broken clavicle. The visible disarrangement of Moicano's shoulder was enough to realize his injury.

However, Moicano showcased no signs of being fazed by the injury during his fight. Moreover, he battered his French rival so hard in the first two rounds that the doctor had to intervene and call the fight off after the end of the second round. Moicano is expected to enter the UFC 311 octagon with high spirits from his current four-fight winning streak.

But one of his recent X updates revealed that he has another "big news" for his followers. Moicano also informed his followers about the time of the announcement for this news. The Brazilian penned:

Renato Moicano is training with a former interim UFC champion for his UFC 311 fight against Beneil Dariush

UFC fighters teaming up with each other to train for their upcoming encounters is a pretty common thing. Fans may know how several UFC stars, including Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira, often join hands for training. Renato Moicano has also planned on taking the same route for his UFC 311 encounter against Beneil Dariush.

A recent post on Moicano's Instagram account showcased that he has chosen the former interim lightweight champion, Dustin Poirier, to train for his UFC 311 encounter. It was Poirier who initially posted the snap with Moicano to his Instagram. Its caption read:

"Starting the new year off right getting beat up by the money man! @renato_moicano_ufc".
