MMA media figures Oscar Willis and Ben Davis entered the ring for a bare-knuckle showdown in Marbella on Saturday night. The two, known for their work behind the scenes and in the commentary booth, swapped their usual work for gloves to deliver an entertaining clash in front of a packed crowd at the iconic Marbella Arena.

Willis, a key figure at Conor McGregor's media company, The Mac Life, and a nominee for Journalist of the Year at the upcoming MMA Awards, faced off against Davis, a UFC Fight Pass and Misfits Boxing commentator. Despite Davis' combat experience, it was Willis who dominated from the start.

Within the first 40 seconds of the fight, Willis unleashed a barrage of strikes that sent Davis crashing to the canvas. Undeterred, Davis got back up, only to be knocked down twice more in rapid succession. Though Davis showed heart and insisted on continuing, it was clear he was outmatched.

The final blow came shortly after, with Davis hitting the ground for the fourth time. The referee had seen enough and waved off the fight, declaring Willis the winner by knockout in the first round.

Conor McGregor, who promoted the event, watched from ringside as his employee secured a resounding victory.

When Dana White showed skepticism over the Oscar Willis vs Ben Davis fight at BKFC

During a recent DWCS press conference, UFC President Dana White expressed surprise upon hearing about Oscar Willis’ upcoming bare-knuckle fight against Ben Davis at BKFC Spain. White responded:

"What? Is that why he [Oscar Willis] is not here? He’s always here. So he is fighting bare-knuckle... "

White went on to support Willis, saying:

“Well, he’s a great kid and I wish him all the luck in the world, hope he doesn’t get his face busted up."
