'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane doesn't plan on stopping at Anatoly Malykhin's ONE heavyweight MMA world title, which will be on the line when they collide at ONE 169: Atlanta. The Senegalese warrior wants his light heavyweight crown, too.

Before he dreams of securing double-champ status on the global stage of the promotion, he will need to accomplish what no man has done to the three-division MMA king – to hand him a defeat in their colossal showdown inside the State Farm Arena on November 8.

As tough as it may sound, the 32-year-old is confident that he can be the man to create history and secure not one but two of 'Sladkiy's' 26 pounds of gold.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA after his triumphant kickboxing debut at ONE Fight Night 23, 'Reug Reug' said:

"It's my belt, you know. I'm going to win this fight, Insya-Allah. Then I'm going down to 100kg, I'll go to light heavyweight, and I'm going to win."

'Reug Reug's' all-around arsenal will be pivotal vs. Malykhin

Though it'll be easier said than done against MMA's first-ever triple-champ, the Black Panther Sports and ReugReug MMA representative is blessed with knockout power and a solid all-around game to match Malykhin wherever the fight unfolds.

'Reug Reug' has showcased just that throughout seven appearances under the ONE spotlight, winning six – four by knockout – alongside a sole defeat to former ONE interim heavyweight world title challenger Kirill Grishenko in April 2021.

Whether or not the Dakar native can go on to upset the Russian superstar remains to be seen.

But given the form that both superstars are in, the watching world is sure to be in for a nail-biting world title showdown in Atlanta.
