Jake Paul lost for the first time in his professional boxing career to British boxer Tommy Fury in a thrilling contest at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia last month. Paul's unbeaten run was snapped by Fury, who extended his record to 9-0 with a split-decision victory.
Prior to the fight, 'The Problem Child' disclosed that he had a one-way rematch clause inserted into the contract. Paul announced in his post-fight interview that he will invoke the rematch clause and wants to run it back with 'TNT' later this year.
Boxing reporter Mike Coppinger of ESPN Ringside recently revealed that the rematch clause Paul included in the contract in the event of a loss will be exercised in July. Tyson Fury has also voiced his approval for the rematch, indicating that he wants to see 'TNT' face both Paul brothers in the future.

Paddy Pimblett labels Jake Paul a "terrible boxer"
Jake Paul and Tommy Fury locked horns on February 26 in Saudi Arabia, with the latter emerging victorious. While this was their first meeting, there had been over two years of trash talk leading up to the bout. Fury had been scheduled to fight the American on two previous occasions, but withdrew both times.
Despite knocking down Fury in the eighth round, Jake Paul lost the fight via split-decision. One judge had it 75–74 for Paul, while the other two scored the fight 76–73 in favor of Fury.
UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett reacted to the fight in a recent interview with TMZSports. Pimblett slammed Paul's performance and even claimed that it shouldn't have been a split-decision:
"It seems to me like Tommy Fury was boxing badly against his last few opponents on purpose, know what I mean? Or Jake Paul is just a terrible boxer, even worse than I thought. I was giving him more credit than I thought he deserved. I don't think it was a split-decision, either. I thought it was a unanimous decision. Tommy won most rounds."
