Indian atomweight MMA superstar 'The Indian Tigress' Ritu Phogat is finally back and ready to return to action.
Phogat is returning to the world's largest martial arts organization after a lengthy two-year hiatus, which saw her get married and have her first child in the interim.
'The Indian Tigress' is scheduled to face former ONE women's strawweight MMA world title challenger and current No. 5-ranked atomweight MMA contender 'Zombie' Ayaka Miura of Japan in a pivotal divisional contest.
The winner could be next in line for a shot at the atomweight gold.

In a recent ONE Championship press release, Phogat made a statement announcing her comeback.
'The Indian Tigress' said:
"After focusing on my family and becoming a mother in the last two years, I am now ready to resume my mixed martial arts career in ONE Championship. It has been a long journey back to the Circle, but I am more than excited to compete against the greatest martial arts athletes in the world once again."
Phogat added:
"I am proud to represent India on the global stage, and I cannot wait to walk down that ramp. I would like to thank all of my fans for their support. ‘The Indian Tigress’ is back and ready to pounce!"

'The Indian Tigress' Ritu Phogat of India will take on one of her toughest assignments when she returns to the ONE Championship Circle next year.
Phogat is set to lock horns with 'Zombie' Ayaka Miura of Japan at ONE 171: Qatar, which broadcasts live from the state-of-the-art Lusail Sports Arena in Lusail, Qatar on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025.
